Dr Santosh Bulchandani is a renowned ophthalmologist ( Anterior segment surgeon) practising since the year 2000 with special interests in Refractive cataract surgery with Multifocal lenses & Refractive laser corrective surgery apart from Squint, Glaucoma & Retinal lasers. He excels in the field of laser eye vision correction ( Lasik) of which he has performed thousands of procedures in his distinguished career
He is an alumni of Seth G S Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai from where he has passed his under graduation ( MBBS: Year 1994-1995) & his postgraduation ( D.O, D.O.M.S, D.N.B- Year 1998-1999). He has also undertaken a short term training at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad for Retinal lasers & Contact lenses. He has also done an observer post at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London in anterior segment surgery
He has been betowed with "Excellent Ophthalmologist of the Year" award by R K Trust foundation for his exemplary work & skill . He has also been bestowed with Versova Gaurav award by the then Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis for his outstanding contribution in the field of Ophthalmology & for his services to the lesser sections of the society.
